Library Enquiries Statistics

Majority of the users ask question in person.

Degree and non-degree students ask questions more frequently.

Checkout Statistics

Degree students had higher total checkout rate than non-degree students and postgraduate students.

Postgraduate students on the whole checked out more books than visual items.  On the other hand, non-degree students checked out more visual materials than books.

Full Time Academic Staff tended to check out more books and visual materials than other user categories.  However, Part Time Academic Staff  checked out more audio materials and scores than other user categories.

Checkout Statistics

The chart above gives some interesting findings.  Students working on Master degree programmes checked out fewer library materials than those pursuing other programmes in the same School except students of the School of Dance.

School of Music had the highest total number of checkouts.  School of Film and Television came second and School of the Theatre and Entertainment Arts was third.

Checkout Statistics

Checkout statistics showed that most of the library users would come to check out (1) book & periodical, follow by (2) visual & audio items, and then  (3) score.

The above chart shows students of the School of F/TV, having the highest average annual checkout per capita, 87 items per year.  Music students come second with an average annual checkout of 62 items per capita, followed by Drama students.
