Library Renovation Working Group
A major library renovation plan was submitted to the Government in 2006/2007. After years of perseverance in resubmissions, the government finally granted funding of HK$ 19.45 M to renovate the Academy Library. The renovated library will have a Learning Commons, 3 to 4 group study rooms, a cultural display area and a connected workspace for a growing number of library staff.
Commencement of the Project is now on the mark. A Library Renovation Working Group has thus been set up by the Library Committee at its 61st meeting held on 22 October 2013.

Recommendation on consultancy was submitted to the Government for approval. As soon as approval is obtained and the consultants are appointed, the Library Renovation Working Group would meet with the consultants and collect suggestions and feedbacks from all stakeholders. Nevertheless, you are welcome to send in any suggestions to the Libraries at any time.
